All people including those who are affected by a disability have the human right to fully enter into and be a part of society. People who are affected by a disability have the potential to grow and develop throughout their lifetimes given the right supports when needed.
NCTC aims to provide the extra support that people with disabilities need in order to become physically, socially, and economically included into community life. NCTC focuses on the person's abilities.
Just in time for Father’s Day! Nemaha County Training Center’s newest fundraiser is “Sippin’ the Suds in Seneca with NCTC”. Give dad what he always wanted and join us Saturday, June 14, 2008 between 5:30 and 8:30 downtown Seneca to sample the newest 19 flavors of beer and spirits that Seneca Wholesale has to offer. Participating stores are Buggy Days, D’s Decor, Fashions Unlimited, Home Cookin’, KMZA FM 92.1, Picture This, Rachel Annes, Raskals Photography, The Shoe Center and The Total Look. Each venue is offering specials for participants that evening as well as appetizers to accommodate the beer. Tickets are on sale at each of the above mentioned venues and at the NCTC offices in Seneca and Sabetha, as well as the Chamber office in Sabetha. This fundraiser is sponsored by Nemaha County Training Center, Inc and Seneca Wholesale along with the above businesses who have generously agreed to be venues for our event. Proceeds go toward the purchase of supplies that help NCTC staff assist individuals with developmental disabilities.
