Family Support programs offer extended services to individuals with mental retardation or similar developmental disabilities and their families.
Family Support Services are available to defray the cost and/or stress of supporting a family member with MR/DD in the home and may include, but are not limited to, respite, in-home support, direct subsidy, and assistance in purchasing durable equipment and supplies.
NCTC also offers assistance through the family support program by way of arranging for and providing inclusionary services to the child, as appropriate, with a trained facilitator to encourage and engage the child in normal activities.
