The Nemaha County Training Center, Inc. Day Service program is licensed by the State Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services and serves individuals with mental retardation or similar developmental disabilities, age 18 and older.

Day Services provide individuals the support they need to become as independent as possible and included as active members of the community.

Individuals are offered work skills training by producing products for sale and through various subcontract work from area businesses and industry. Individuals are also offered support training and guidance in socialization, basic academics, finance management, leisure time skills, self-help, self-care skills, etc.

Individuals are offered assistance with securing jobs within the community. They are also offered appropriate supports they may need to retain the job once it is secured.
